Point Aux Pins, AL:  One of, if not the first serious attempt at oyster culturing along the Gulf Coast.  Though still a small project, these beautiful oysters are making into the Houston market.   Imagine an oyster with all the good flavors of Gulf oysters, with the delicate meats of East Coast oysters.
